The transfer window officially opened for clubs around Europe on July 1st. This means that we will start to see some deals accelerate especially when the Euros and Copa America draws to a close. The further we get in both tournaments the more deals we will see finalized.

Les Parisians need to make some reinforcements to their squad for the upcoming season. Here at PSG Post, we discuss the areas of PSG's squad that will need improving the most.

1. Winger

One of the positions that need the most focus is the attacking position specifically out wide. Kylian Mbappe announced that he is going to join Real Madrid next season in what was the world's best-kept secret.

The French captain had been linked to the Spanish giants for years before announcing that he was going to leave the French champions. They may also need to find a replacement for Xavi Simons who has agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich. Finding a replacement will not be easy as Mbappe and Simons are both quality players.

2. Centre back

Luis Enrique could do with another center-back this coming season for many reasons. One rationale is that they are looking to offload Milan Skriniar who has fallen out of favour with the hierarchy at the club.

Another reason is that Lucas Hernandez and Presnel Kimpembe are injury prone while Danilo Pereira and Marquinhos are ageing. Whilst signing a centre back may not be a priority at the moment they'll eventually need to find replacements for the ones at their disposal.
