1. Age and contract

Let's start with Keylor Navas himself. The historic goalkeeper has a contract with PSG that extends until the summer of 2024, and at the moment there are no indications that a renewal is approaching to extend his stay in the French capital. It is logical that the board of directors bets on pieces that it has in the medium or long term, with the aim of building a project through continuity.

Obviously, there is the particular case of Kylian Mbappe, who despite having a contract, like Navas, until 2024, remains immovable. Of course, in the case of the forward, there are signs of a possible contract extension.

In addition, the former Real Madrid goalkeeper is now 36 years old, something that could deduct points considering the Parisian team's intention to form a generally young squad. If we take as a reference the last starting eleven that Luis Enrique presented (vs. Rennes), the average age of PSG is 24 years.
