5. Goncalo Ramos (€65 million)
In the same summer that PSG bought Randal Kolo Muani for €95 million, they also signed another forward who had impressed both in the Champions League and at the 2022 World Cup, Goncalo Ramos. Expected to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s successor with Portugal, the Parisians secured Ramos on loan, agreeing to pay €65 million for his permanent transfer in January.
6. Edinson Cavani (€64.5 million)
Another of the most profitable signings for PSG in the last decade. In 2013, with the new Qatari project just getting started, Edinson Cavani arrived from Napoli for €64.5 million. Time would prove the Parisian board’s decision right, as the Uruguayan would later become the club’s all-time top scorer with 200 goals, before being surpassed by Kylian Mbappe.
