Rodrygo teases Kylian Mbappe's transfer to Real Madrid on Instagram

Real Madrid forward and Brazil international Rodrygo sparked speculation with an Instagram post shared on his personal account featuring himself alongside Kylian Mbappe on Saturday.

The post quickly turned viral and attracted the attention of every single soul even remotely interested in the football world, thus intensifying the uncertainty surrounding the Frenchman's future at PSG with a transfer to Real Madrid looming in the (near) future.

RMC Sport echoed the story by sharing that photo, taken during a vacation trip to Sardinia. Both Rodrygo and Mbappe are sharing time together, while the Brazilian is pointing to the PSG forward in a rather mysterious way.

According to RMC Sport, Mbappe is expected to be excluded from PSG's upcoming training camp in Poissy after missing the club's Asian tour and the team gears up for the start of the regular season in about a week.

Members of the PSG board, led by president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, have been disheartened by Mbappe's refusal to commit to a sales agreement for the next summer transfer window, and they fear the player has already plotted an exit for free next July.

They believe that the player has a prearranged agreement with Real Madrid to join them as a free agent in July 2024, which is the main reason leading PSG to try and find a suitor for their superstar before this summer's transfer window closes and they end up losing Mbappe for nothing to Real Madrid.

Mbappe has reportedly turned down hefty contract offers from Saudi clubs, and there are hints that Real Madrid might make a move for him before the end of the transfer market in August, although the fee they are willing to offer has been deemed "laughable" and "disrespectful" by some sources close to the situation.

Only time will tell where Mbappe will play next, but all signs point toward an exit from the French capital coming sooner rather than later.
