Real Madrid star breaks silence on PSG's Kylian Mbappe 'saga'
Rodrygo, the young Brazilian promise of Real Madrid, has addressed the speculations pointing to him as the possible sacrifice to make way for Kylian Mbappe, in case the Frenchman arrives in the Spanish capital this summer.
The 23-year-old attacker has scored 10 goals in 30 appearances for Carlo Ancelotti's team this season, contributing to Madrid's leadership with an eight-point advantage over FC Barcelona after a 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao at the Santiago Bernabeu last night, with two goals from the Brazilian himself:
"I don't know if Mbappe will come yet. I think it's close because everyone is talking about it, and I trust the journalists, but I really don't know what's going on," commented Rodrygo.

"We'll see what the coach decides next year; I think this will be a problem for him... but a good problem. I'm calm. I'm not thinking that far ahead; I'm just focusing on this season and trying to finish it strong by winning as many titles as possible."
With Mbappe strongly linked to the Spanish capital and the arrival of Brazilian prodigy Endrick already officially confirmed, Carlo Ancelotti will be the envy of Europe with his offensive options next season.
The French star Mbappe was evasive when asked about his future while with the French national team last week, assuring the present media that he would provide an update if and when there's something to update.
If the long-awaited transfer finally goes through, the Frenchman should not expect Rodrygo to step aside for him.
