The French Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) disclosed the final transfer amount of Randal Kolo Muani in its recent report on the closing day of the 2023 summer transfer window.

The revelation emerged during discussions between the legal departments of the League and PSG, and it was in fact revealed to be a hefty amount of money.

The Kolo Muani transfer saga stayed active until the waning hours of the summer transfer window, as the French striker made a last-minute move from Frankfurt to PSG on September 1.

Now the LFP has corroborated these tense moments in a comprehensive report on the transfer window's final day, offering a glimpse into the League's legal operations.

Kolo Muani's transfer exemplifies the frenetic activity in the closing minutes and the challenges of completing paperwork on time, particularly in international dealings with a foreign club, as evidenced by PSG's proactive approach.

In a phone conversation between intermediaries and PSG, the actual transfer amount for Kolo Muani was disclosed--€80 million plus an extra €5 million in bonuses.

This revelation contradicts earlier reports from both French and German media, which had quoted different figures. The French press cited €75 million plus a €15 million bonus, while German media claimed €90 million plus a €5 million bonus. Frankfurt also confirmed €90 million plus €5 million in passing.

Turns out the fee was still humongous but not to those ridiculous extents.
