In less than a month, PSG will return to competition with a trip to Le Havre for the first match of Ligue 1.

PSG welcomes Donnarumma and Skriniar back to training

While a large part of the squad resumed training on July 15th, the internationals are gradually coming back. Milan Skriniar and Gianluigi Donnarumma returned to the training grounds this Tuesday. The first preparation match for the 2024-2025 season is approaching for PSG. The capital club will face Sturm Graz on August 7th, followed by a match against RB Leipzig three days later.

For these two encounters, Luis Enrique is expected to not have a complete squad at his disposal. Although many players resumed training at the Poissy Campus on July 15th, the internationals who participated in the Euro and Copa America will return gradually.

On Monday, Gianluigi Donnarumma, who was eliminated in the round of 16 of the Euro by Switzerland (2-0), and Milan Skriniar, who was defeated by England in extra time in the round of 16 (2-1), returned to the PSG Campus for physical tests.

The two players were back at the capital club’s training center on Tuesday to take part in their first session with their teammates. They were joined by two new faces, Gabriel Moscardo and Matvey Safonov. The Italian goalkeeper thus had the opportunity to meet his new competitor for the PSG goalkeeper position.
