PSG and Lyon news

Fresh from Tuesday night's heroics against Barcelona Luis Enrique's side are looking to dent Lyon's chances of qualifying for European football.

The task on Sunday will not be a foregone conclusion especially if Luis Enrique decides to rotate his squad. The squad is a little thin with fringe players Presnel Kimpembe and Sergio Rico still nursing injuries coupled with Manuel Ugarte missing the game through suspension.

As for Lyon they will be without Alexandre Lacazette who is in concussion protocols and Nicolas Tagliafico through suspension.

  • Lyon: Lopes; Maitland-Niles, Mata, O’Brien, Henrique; Caqueret, Matic, Tolisso; Fofana, Lacazette, Benrahma

Both sides still have plenty to play for this season as PSG haven't wrapped up the league title yet and Lyon are in a race for the final European spot. Despite this neither side will want to show the other their cards ahead of the Coupe de France final.
