If the brass of PSG thought the ongoing international break would bring a little bit of calm to the waters the club is navigating, well, it is starting to become very clear that they were totally wrong as the Ultras of PSG are already bringing trouble back to the forefront.

The most fervent fans of PSG, known as Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP), published an official press release on Saturday demanding a meeting with Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

The CUP, which is one of the world-renowned groups of fans across Europe, made it clear that they will keep pushing and rooting for the team through the remainder of the season trying to help the team win their record-breaking 11th Ligue 1 title. However, they also demanded to be heard by the PSG president soon.

After getting rocked in the Champions League (second leg played at the Allianz Arena in Munich) and knocked out of the Coupe de France (at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille) on the road and away from the Parc des Princes, PSG will have to play some pivotal league at their stadium through the remainder of the season facing the plaudits and/or boos of their main supporters: the CUP.

The collective published a press release on social media on Saturday in which they asked for Al-Khelaifi to meet them to discuss some topics related to Paris Saint-Germain and their precarious situation.

PSG Ultras blame the putrid season on both the players and the QSI, Al-Khelaifi-led board

According to the CUP, they will "maintain their support in the stands going forward." Although the players have often been blamed for the bad results of PSG this season, the CUP made clear that although they think the players are not "the lone scapegoats," while blaming "a poorly constructed squad, a sports policy without real direction, and the compulsive purchase of flashy names without worrying about the balance of the team" as the main reasons for the letdown.

The Ultras believe that right now, at PSG and under the ownership of QSI, "the politics of club" are led by "marketing," which has in turn "taken precedent over sports results."

The main demand included in the press release, though, is the one with which the CUP asks "for the umpteenth time" to meet Al-Khelaifi. They want to do so "quickly" in order to let him know "the many problems that the CUP has identified in and around the club," which they say are both related to "sporting and extra-sporting" matters.

Although there are some childish demands considering the present day and age we live into, such as bringing back the classic "Hechter kit", some others are much more pressing and of interest to the fans, including a review of the ticket prices for PSG's games as the CUP considers they are more geared toward hosting "VIPs" than true fans of the team.
