PSG transfer target visits Neymar in Paris, posts about it on IG
A few days ago, Rob Dawson of ESPN reported about the interest of multiple European clubs in a player from English Premier League side Fulham, including PSG. On Sunday, Neymar took a picture in Paris with said player, adding wood to the whispers fire.
Along with Paris Saint-Germain, Dawson reported about the interest of Chelsea and Atletico Madrid in Fulham's midfielder Andreas Pereira. Chelsea is the main club of interest here, considering they have targeted the Brazilian as a potential replacement for a (probably) departing Mason Mount.
Dawson informed that "contract talks between Chelsea and Mount have stalled," adding more credence to the rumors of Chelsea in fellow London club player Pereira, who is plying his trade at Fulham this season.
Andreas Pereira is under contract until 2026 but his latest IG post has fostered all sorts of rumors
On Sunday, Pereira uploaded a picture to his Instagram account in which he was photographed at Neymar's house in Paris, with the Brazil international from PSG signing one of his jerseys to the Fulham player.
In the caption, Pereira wrote "So good to see you my bro. I'm rooting for your success always Neymar!!," to with Neymar replied with a heart emoji.
Pereira moved from Manchester United to Fulham last summer, but he could be open to moving once more next summer with interest coming from Chelsea, PSG, and Atletico Madrid.
In his report, Dawson wrote that sources close to the player "told ESPN that Pereira is happy at Fulham," although the journalist also revealed that the player "would find the opportunity to join one of Europe's leading clubs hard to turn down." More interestingly, Dawson also mentioned that the future of Pereira at Fulham "may also depend on [the future] of Fulham manager Marco Silva" at Craven Cottage next season.
Pereira is believed to be available for a sum in the region of £25-35m and is under contract at Fulham until 2026, with the option of extending that deal for another year.
