On Saturday evening, PSG will host Brest for the fourth round of Ligue 1. Both Vitinha and Warren Zaire-Emery are expected to miss the match.

After a 15-day international break, PSG returns to action on Saturday evening at Parc des Princes, welcoming Stade Brestois for Ligue 1's fourth matchday. During the international break, three of PSG’s players sustained injuries.

Vitinha injured his ankle during Portugal’s first match and was ruled out of their game against Scotland. Warren Zaire-Emery also suffered an ankle injury while playing for France against Italy, causing him to miss France's second match.

Lastly, Desire Doue, who also sustained an ankle injury, remained with the French U21 squad but did not participate in the game against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

With just two days before the PSG vs. Brest match, Le Parisien provided an update on the fitness of Vitinha and Warren Zaire-Emery. While the injuries don’t appear too severe, both players have yet to resume full training with PSG. As of Thursday evening's session at the Campus, both were still absent, just as they were on Wednesday, reported the French daily.

Head coach Luis Enrique will make his final decision on the squad after Friday morning's training session. Given the Champions League match against Girona just a week away on Wednesday, September 18, the Spanish coach may opt to rest both players to avoid any risk.

Regarding Warren Zaire-Emery, his latest MRI revealed a minor strain that requires careful management. In recent days, he has reported feeling better, and his participation in the Girona match has not been ruled out. As of now, he's on track to be ready for PSG's Champions League opener, according to Le Parisien.

With a crucial Champions League match against Girona on the horizon, coach Luis Enrique might choose to rest them, prioritizing their recovery to avoid further complications.
