PSG to face Olympique Lyonnais in Coupe de France final

Paris Saint-Germain reached the final after defeating Stade de Rennes at Parc des Princes with a score of 1-0. Lyon defeated Valenciennes FC in a 3-0 rout to secure their ticket to the grand final of the Coupe de France.

This Coupe de France will be contested between two of the most important clubs in the history of French football. PSG and Olympique Lyonnais will face each other in the final of this local championship, where a fairly even match is expected as Lyon hopes to win a championship this season and Paris Saint-Germain wants to conquer all of France this year.

The date for the Coupe de France final is already known

The appointment for the final will be on May 25th at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium. Lille's home is the venue for this match and with no home advantage, the crowd factor will play equally for both clubs. However, prior to this match, Paris Saint-Germain seems to be the clear favorite to once again win this championship, given the current situation of both clubs in the season.

With a month and a few days left for this final, PSG still has an exhausting journey in the season, as their activity in both the UEFA Champions League and Ligue 1 leads to high competitiveness in preparation for this Cup final.

On the other hand, Lyon is only competing in Ligue 1 and their position in it is not the most positive. However, their fight to enter European competitions will lead them on a fairly long path to compete in Ligue 1 and prepare for their encounter against PSG in the Coupe de France final.
