Aftering getting Goncalo Ramos on loan from Benfica, PSG are still actively pursuing the signature of another young and talented striker on a transaction not linked to the one completed to acquire the rights of the Portugal international: Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt.

Although Ramos joined PSG just a few days ago to become the new no. 9 of the team, the latest reports suggest a strong interest in Kolo Muani by PSG

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, PSG's president, is reportedly "leading this effort," and Kolo Muani is also reportedly keen on joining the club. However, the deal is not yet close to being finalized with both clubs still to agree on the terms of the transfer.

It's evident that PSG aims to bolster its attacking options, not only with Ramos but also with the addition of Kolo Muani, and Fabrizio Romano confirmed "talks are open" between PSG and the Bundesliga side for the transfer of the 24-year-old French international.

This move is not linked in any way to the one PSG completed with Benfica for Goncalo Ramos, and the French champions are expected to go all-in for the acquisition of the French youngster without regard of having already landed the Portugal striker.

Initial talks took place earlier in the week, indicating that the negotiations are in progress pending a final agreement that could force Eintratch Frankfurt into accepting an offer based around a package of players on top of money instead of a single fee paid by PSG.

It's likely that the outcome of this deal may depend on the developments in the Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr transfer situations, as both players are reportedly in the process of leaving the club and would help PSG a lot in terms of abiding by the Financial Fair Play rules as their exit would open massive wage room in PSG's bill.
