Paris Saint-Germain have signed Brazilian star Ana Vitoria on a three-year contract, attaching her to the capital club until 30th June 2026.

Vitoria becomes PSG's third signing of the season, just a few days after the announcement of Viola Calligaris.

The 23-year-old had played at Benfica since 2020, the only European club she's been under contract at since arriving from South America.

Vitoria played over 70 games for the Portuguese side and scored more than 40 goals. For the 22/23 season, the Brazilian scored eight goals in the Liga BPI campaign and played 511 minutes with her side in the UEFA Champions League before the club's early exit.

Vitoria made her international debut for Brazil's national team in 2020 at the age of 20. She will be featuring in this year's Women's World Cup, which will occur in the next few weeks, marking her first-ever World Cup involvement.

Though Ana's preferred position is as a midfielder, she has shown her flexibility when taking on the forward role on occasion.

PSG's biggest reason for their hardship during the last season was down to the fact they had nobody to relay to score goals. This shows that if Marie-Antoinette Katoto and/or Kadidiatou Diani (now a free agent) are unavailable to participate, finding goals would be a rather difficult challenge to complete.

Clearly, Vitoria is a steady goalscoring threat, and many would agree. She's just what PSG needed in their desire to be triumphant next season.

Ana Vitoria first words about PSG

Ana Vitoria spoke with the PSG official website on her thoughts about becoming a Rouge et Bleu player.

When asked what signing for the French club meant, she answered, " My arrival is another step in my career. I'm getting closer to my dream; I would even say it's the fulfillment of one of those dreams."

Ana continued to say she has many dreams to fulfill with PSG now.

"Paris Saint-Germain is a very big club, so everyone knows them." But, Vitoria associates more than popularity with PSG as she said: "I think the thing that resonates with me the most is that the cub has a lot of ambition."

She named a few former players of the club that she has looked up to, "Erika, Cristane, and Formiga. For the men, it was Ronaldinho."

Vitoria believes in her versatility and described her best qualities as "Very hardworking and a team player."

"I want to win every competition: D1Arkema, the French Cup, and the Champions League. That's my dream; that's my goal."

We wish Ana Vitoria the best of luck with her new journey with PSG!
