PSG's Marquinhos has been out since February 17th, after sustaining an injury during the match against Nantes, keeping him sidelined until further notice.

Although the injury initially appeared minor and his return seemed imminent, it transpired that the affected area was the Achilles tendon, which would pose several challenges for his return to the Parisian squad.

L'Equipe stated that PSG has a return date set, but it seems they will have to wait a bit longer. The Parisian club aims to ensure the proper recovery of their captain, as rushing his return could exacerbate matters. Consequently, the French newspaper confirms that the most anticipated return date will be April 10th, to face Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League at the Parc des Princes.

The Brazilian is set to make his comeback in an exciting Champions League clash

Marquinhos has missed several crucial matches for PSG, but it appears that his successor, both in the Parisian team and the Brazilian national team, has a promising future. Lucas Beraldo has stepped up as a central defender in the absence of PSG's captain.

While the results have been more than satisfactory, his return could bolster the Parisian squad, having both Brazilian center-backs, Lucas Beraldo and Marquinhos, in their defensive lineup.

PSG is just two weeks away from their clash against FC Barcelona, and it appears that barring any setbacks, the club will have the majority of its squad available for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

With key players returning from injury and suspension, such as Marquinhos, the team's captain, PSG is looking to field their strongest lineup against the Spanish giants.
