PSG set to face one of these eight teams in Champions League round of 16

Following the conclusion of the UEFA Champions League group stage, PSG already know their potential matchups in the first round of the knockout stage having qualified for the round of 16 as the second team of Group F.

The list of opponents includes many of Europe's top football clubs, all of them qualifying as first-place teams. The lineup includes notable squads such as Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Real Madrid.

PSG's second-place finish was determined both by their draw at BVB and the victory of AC Milan over Newcastle (2-1).

The French champions cannot draw any team from their own group, in this case, Borussia Dortmund, in the first round nor anyone from France, which won't happen anyway as no other team from the nation clinched a knockout berth.

Based on calculations by football analysts, Bayern Munich has emerged as the most likely opponent for PSG, with a probability of around 17% of drawing PSG.

On the other end, Arsenal and other Spanish clubs like Real Sociedad, Atletico Madrid, and Barcelona are deemed the least likely options for PSG in the upcoming draw.
