PSG secures spot in revamped 2025 Club World Cup
With their consistent performances in European competitions, PSG has secured their spot in the 2025 Club World Cup.
This tournament will undergo a complete transformation next year. Since its inception in 2000, the Club World Cup has included the champion team from the host country, along with the winners of the UEFA Champions League, CAF Champions League, AFC Champions League, CONCACAF Champions League, OFC Champions League, and Copa Libertadores.
However, in 2025, the format will shift to resemble that of the World Cup. Thirty-two teams from the six global confederations will compete from June 15 to July 13, 2025. The inaugural edition of this revamped tournament will take place in the United States.
This Saturday afternoon, PSG confirmed their participation in this competition on their social media channels.
