It is an inevitably depopulated Parisian team that leaves for Newcastle for this Wednesday's UEFA Champions League match. The group is made up of only 19 players, including three goalkeepers, and there are six absentees.

After two Ligue 1 games, PSG returns to the Champions League with a complicated match against Newcastle United. Paris will leave early for the north of England where they will train tomorrow, so the group has been revealed quite early. It only has 19 players, including three goalkeepers, since Keylor Navas is also present.

There are a total of six absences for the Parisian club, including the usual three injured. Presnel Kimpembe still has several weeks of recovery left, Marco Asensio is approaching the field but is not yet ready, and Nuno Mendes will not play again until early 2024. We must also add the unavailability of Kang-In Lee, who is with South Korea in the Asian Games. Layvin Kurzawa and Cher Ndour, present on the bench against Clermont, are not on the list.

To these six casualties, we must also add Hugo Ekitike, but the young forward has not been part of PSG's plans for weeks and is not registered on the Champions League lists.

PSG squad list:

  • Goalkeepers: Donnarumma, Navas, Tenas.
  • Defenders: Hakimi, Marquinhos, Danilo, Hernandez, Skriniar, Mukiele.
  • Midfielders: Ugarte, Vitinha, Ruiz, Soler, Zaire-Emery.
  • Forwards: Mbappe, Ramos, Dembele, Kolo Muani, Barcola.
