The summer transfer window is coming to a close, and PSG's focus is shifting from potential signings to finalizing departures. Despite earlier hopes for reinforcements, particularly in attack and defense, the club is now facing a quieter conclusion to the transfer period.

One of the key names on the departure list is Juan Bernat. The Spanish left-back is reportedly on the verge of joining Villarreal on loan. Although the deal's specifics are still under wraps, Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport suggests it will likely be a loan without an option to buy. Bernat, whose contract with PSG runs until June 2025, is expected to leave the club permanently next summer.

Another player likely to exit is Carlos Soler. Initially linked with a permanent move to West Ham United, recent reports indicate that the deal will instead be a loan with a €20 million option to buy. Soler is set to travel to London on Friday for a medical.

Milan Skriniar’s situation is also being closely watched. The Slovakian defender, once a key player, is now seen as surplus to requirements under Luis Enrique. However, his high salary and questionable fitness have made finding a new club challenging. A potential move to AS Roma is still on the table, though far from certain.

Meanwhile, Ismael Gharbi, a promising young midfielder, is set to join Braga in a permanent transfer. The deal marks one of the few confirmed departures as the transfer window nears its end.

Despite numerous rumors linking PSG to offensive reinforcements like Jadon Sancho and Kingsley Coman, no new signings are expected in the final hours of the window. Sancho is reportedly in advanced talks with Chelsea, while Coman has decided to remain at Bayern Munich, turning down offers from other clubs.

As the clock ticks down, PSG fans may have to reconcile with a quieter transfer deadline than anticipated, focusing instead on the departures that will shape the club’s future.
