PSG has just released its customary medical report, and at least four players will be unavailable for the match against AS Monaco. The bad news is confirmed for Marquinhos, absent for ten days and therefore also unavailable for the PSG vs. Newcastle match.

Ahead of the game, Luis Enrique has a clearer picture of the players he can rely on for the clash against Monaco. There's confirmed bad news in the club's newly published medical report. Marquinhos, injured while on duty with Brazil, has "a minor injury to the right hamstring" and "will be under care for 10 days." He won't feature in the Monaco match or the Newcastle game.

There are no major updates regarding the rest of the infirmary, with "Nuno Mendes continuing his care protocol" and Presnel Kimpembe "gradually reintegrating with the squad." As announced earlier this week, "Warren Zaire-Emery, suffering from a moderate ankle sprain, will continue treatment until the winter break." For this PSG vs. AS Monaco clash, the condition of players returning late from international duty, led by Kang-In Lee, will also need monitoring.

However, there's some good news: after several weeks' absence, both Keylor Navas and Danilo Pereira are now fit and available, expected to make their return for this PSG vs. AS Monaco match. Marco Asensio hasn't been on this medical report for a few weeks and is also expected to return this Friday in the 13th round of Ligue 1.

Luis Enrique will be at the press conference on Thursday before the game, expected to provide more details about his plans for this PSG vs. Monaco encounter.

PSG's medical report ahead of facing Monaco:

  • Marquinhos, dealing with a minor injury in the right hamstring, will be under care for 10 days.
  • Warren Zaire-Emery, affected by a moderate ankle sprain, will continue treatment until the winter break.
  • Nuno Mendes continues his care protocol.
  • Presnel Kimpembe is still gradually reintegrating with the squad.
