Following the painful defeat for the Parisians on May 1st during their visit to Germany, PSG has continuously worked on strengthening their weaknesses observed in that match, aiming to mount a comeback in the competition leading them to the final at Wembley.

On May 7th, the Parc des Princes will witness a PSG semifinal in the UEFA Champions League, a historic moment for the club, which has only reached this stage three times in its history (fourth time with the current one), and only once has it made it to the final, awaiting to see what will happen on this upcoming May 7th with the Parisian club.

Kylian Mbappe showed positivity in statements to Le Parisien, where his mindset and confidence will provide the necessary assistance to ensure PSG makes it to another Champions League final.

The pressure is on Mbappe

"Is the pressure on my shoulders for Tuesday's match against Dortmund? It's normal because there's a spot at stake for the Champions League final, which is not insignificant. Even more so considering the club's history in the competition."
Kylian Mbappe

This statement from Mbappe clarifies how the pressure is on him, one of the best footballers today. Still, within this competition, he will have the sufficient capacity to contribute greatly to the team's qualification for the final.

Does PSG have more pressure compared to other teams?

"We're aware of the pressure, but the squad is very calm. We have confidence, and we're sure we'll overcome this (1-0 deficit) and qualify for the final."
Kylian Mbappe

As in the tie against Barcelona, PSG is once again trailing in the score, but the confidence the squad has shown this season brings a sense of tranquility regarding the work they must do, and being at a deficit in this competition seems to make them stronger, as seen since the group stage.

For Mbappe, PSG will be in the final on June 1st at Wembley, the football temple that will host the two best teams of this season in a head-to-head, to determine the champion in this format of the UEFA Champions League, and without a doubt, PSG aims for a spot in this final.
