Paris Saint-Germain is moving quickly to trim its roster before the transfer window closes, and Ilyes Housni is the latest player to find a new home. The 19-year-old forward, a product of PSG's youth academy, will be loaned to Le Havre with an option to buy.

This comes after an underwhelming stint in Qatar with Al-Sadd, where Housni made just six appearances, partly due to a partial ligament tear in his knee.

According to reports from Le Parisien, Housni, who is under contract with PSG until 2026, will join Le Havre on a season-long loan. The young striker will travel to Normandy on Monday evening and is expected to undergo his medical on Tuesday morning. Standing at 1.72 meters, Housni hopes to make a fresh start at Le Havre after his disappointing experience in Qatar.

This move represents a significant opportunity for both Housni and Le Havre. The club, facing financial constraints, has been limited in its ability to strengthen its squad, making Housni's addition an important one.

Le Havre is also reportedly interested in bolstering its defense, possibly with the acquisition of another former PSG academy player, Timothee Pembele, who is currently struggling for playing time at Sunderland.

For Housni, this loan spell is a chance to prove his worth and reignite his career in France. Should he perform well, Le Havre may exercise the option to make the move permanent, potentially marking a new chapter in his journey as a professional footballer.
