Last night, PSG's women's team faced Reims in the rescheduled match of the 4th round of D1 Arkema, securing a comfortable 4-0 win.
Sitting in the second position in the D1 Arkema, PSG had two games in hand compared to league leaders Lyon. Two matches that couldn't be played earlier: the first against Stade de Reims, interrupted in October due to fireworks on the pitch, and the second against Guingamp in November, postponed due to unplayable field conditions. Last night, at the PSG Campus, Jocelyn Prêcheur's team took on Reims.
In a completely controlled match, the players easily overcame Stade de Reims (4-0). Lieke Martens opened the scoring after a deflection from Elisa De Almeida in a corner kick (1-0, minute 31).
In the second half, Marie-Antoinette Katoto extended the lead (2-0, minute 48) before Martens completed her brace (3-0, minute 62). Grace Geyoro, PSG's captain, sealed the victory at the end of the match (4-0, minute 90).
This triumph follows PSG's previous 6-0 win against Lille at the Poissy Campus. Next Saturday, the Parisians will return to the training grounds to face Bordeaux in the 13th round of D1 Arkema. With this victory, PSG takes a three-point lead over Paris FC and closes in on an eight-point gap with Lyon.
