During the draw between PSG and Brest (2-2) last weekend, Bradley Barcola was sent off. The winger for the Rouge & Bleu knows his punishment.

For several weeks, Bradley Barcola has been an undisputed starter in PSG's attack. The former Lyon player has been delivering excellent performances and has been involved in two goals (one goal and one assist) in his last two Ligue 1 matches.

Last weekend, during the reception of Stade Brestois, the French U21 international once again put in a splendid performance, marked by a magnificent assist to Marco Asensio.

However, he did not finish the game. PSG's number 29 received two yellow cards within two minutes, resulting in his expulsion. The first, was for dissent after Mr. Turpin blew the whistle for a nonexistent foul on Pierre Lees-Melou (92nd minute), and the second was for a foul to stop a Brest counter-attack (94th minute).

This Wednesday, the Discipline Commission of the Professional Football League (LFP) met. It ruled on the case of the forward. Bradley Barcola has been handed a one-match suspension. Therefore, he will miss the trip to Strasbourg on Friday night (9:00 PM, Prime Video).

He will be eligible to return for the Brest match in the Round of 16 of the Coupe de France on February 7. A game that Lucas Hernandez will not play. Against Brest, the PSG defender received his third yellow card in less than ten matches, resulting in a one-match suspension. As the sanction takes effect on February 6 at midnight, the former Bayern Munich player will miss the reunion – at Parc des Princes – with Brest.
