As PSG gears up for their next Ligue 1 match against Brest on Sunday, the club announced six players will miss this clash by including them in their last injury report.

It's worth noting the upcoming absence of Marquinhos, who will be missing this game and won't be part of the matchday squad as he takes some time off for load-management reasons according to PSG's medical staff.

Central defender Presnel Kimpembe and offensive forward Marco Asensio will remain off the field following their recovery schedules; Nuno Mendes is also continuing his rehabilitation. That means that the three players of PSG with mid-to-long-term injuries and recovery timelines haven't moved from their already-known status.

Goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who was already absent in the matchup against Milan last midweek, will also be unavailable for the game vs. Brest due to lower back pain.

Additionally, Layvin Kurzawa, who made a shock return to play against Strasbourg in Ligue 1 recently, has been sidelined once more allegedly due to illness.

The most significant setback comes in the form of Brazil international and PSG center-back Marquinhos, who has been granted rest due to adductor discomfort.

Marquinhos' absence adds to the challenges faced by PSG in the defensive line with barely any backup available to come off the bench.
