Considered one of the promising talents from the youth academy, central defender Joane Gadou is seen as the future by Parisian leaders.

With Kylian Mbappe departing at the end of the season, PSG now aims to focus on youth, emphasizing a strong collective. While PSG executives plan to make Warren Zaire-Emery the face of this new PSG, another youngster could quickly become a key player under Luis Enrique.

At just 17 years old, central defender Joane Gadou will be joining the senior team's collective training this week. This could soon become a regular occurrence for the academy graduate.

Joane Gadou attracting interest from European clubs

Indeed, as reported by RMC Sport, the 17-year-old player is considered one of the promising talents from the youth academy and is being courted by several top European clubs, though their names have not been disclosed.

To prevent him from bolstering the competition, PSG seeks to retain their 1.95m tall defender, whose aspirant contract runs until 2025. The Parisian board is working behind the scenes to secure Joane Gadou's first professional contract and ensure the future of the French U18 international.

Possessing good distribution skills, the central defender has quickly risen through the ranks and has featured this season for PSG's U19 team, playing eleven league matches and three Youth League games.

"PSG executives appreciate his profile, much like Luis Campos, who is negotiating directly with his representatives in hopes of quickly securing his first professional contract," reports the sports media. This season, he notably made one appearance in Luis Enrique's squad during the Round of 32 of the French Cup against US Revel (0-9).
