In a recent interview with Le Parisien, Paris Saint-Germain's president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, shared insights about the club's young prodigy, 17-year-old Warren Zaire-Emery. Al-Khelaifi emphasized how the homegrown midfielder has a profound love for PSG, expressing his wish for Zaire-Emery to have a successful football career with the club.
"Warren should become the Steven Gerrard of the club. He should live his entire life here. He comes from here, loves the club, loves the badge. He's here thanks to the club. He's a great kid. As a player, we do not doubt him, but also as a person," stated Nasser Al-Khelaifi to Le Parisien.
Drawing parallels with football legend Gerrard, Al-Khelaifi hopes that Zaire-Emery achieves all his goals at PSG and wears the jersey until the last day of his career, reminiscent of Gerrard's loyalty at Anfield.
The eagerly awaited news for all Parisian fans is Zaire-Emery's contract renewal, and there is already a set date for the announcement. It is expected that on March 8, when the French footballer turns 18, the official announcement of his contract extension with the club he loves will be made.
