Since the announcement of Kylian Mbappe's departure, PSG has witnessed a surge in options to bolster the Rouge & Bleu ranks. Among them, the name of Joshua Kimmich resurfaces persistently, gaining prominence today.

In the 22nd round of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich suffered a 3-2 defeat on Bochum's turf. A loss against the current 11th-placed team in the German league leaves Joshua Kimmich and his teammates in second position, trailing eight points behind Bayer Leverkusen. During the match, the German midfielder was substituted by Bryan Zaragoza in the 63rd minute.

A decision made by Thomas Tuchel that did not sit well with the main party involved. So much so that, according to various German media outlets, a heated argument erupted between the Bavarian number 6 and Zsolt Löw, assistant to the former PSG coach. It seems the scene took place on the way to the dressing rooms after the final whistle. The discussion came close to turning physical.

Speaking to Sky Sport, Bayern's supervisory board chairman, Jan-Christian Dreesen, commented on this episode: "Joshua may have been upset about being substituted, but it's normal." On the same subject, Thomas Tuchel also weighed in: "I know what happened but I don't have to talk about it publicly. It's the dressing room, there are emotions, it doesn't mean anything. It's a normal incident after a defeat," he said in the press conference following his players' loss in Bochum.

Farewell Bells for Kimmich?

In this regard, and in addition to the information that has emerged since this winter transfer window, the possibility of Joshua Kimmich joining Paris Saint-Germain gains more traction. In fact, according to information from our German colleagues at BILD, the bond between Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Tuchel may be broken.

Is this a direct consequence of Bayern Munich's current results and this relationship between the coach and his player? The latter reportedly wants to leave next summer. This information would be enough to link the player to PSG during the long weeks remaining until the next summer transfer window.
