According to RMC Sport, the Super Lig club has been facing significant payment delays, leading them to release the midfielder, who was trained at Paris Saint-Germain. Michut exercised his rights with FIFA, relying on Article 14 of the football governing body's code. This action set a deadline of midnight on Tuesday for Adana Demirspor to resolve the situation.
With no resolution, Michut's contract was terminated, making him a free agent on the transfer market. At 21 years old, and still, according to RMC Sport, the Parisian academy product is on the radar of several Serie A clubs and another club from a different league, whose identity has not yet been revealed but is reportedly the most persistent in pursuing the French midfielder.
However, for Paris Saint-Germain, Edouard Michut's future is now less financially promising. If Adana Demirspor had accepted to include a resale percentage clause of 25% in favor of the capital club, that clause would now void with the contract termination.
