While the summer transfer window has not yet opened, a former PSG star is expected to make a move. Indeed, Angel Di Maria could be turning a new page in his career and leaving Europe to join Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.
Angel Di Maria spent seven seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, including one alongside Lionel Messi. The two Argentinians might reunite at Inter Miami. According to the latest information from ESPN, the Florida franchise has made El Fideo their priority for the next transfer window.
At 36, the former PSG player had aimed to return to Argentina, a plan complicated by security issues off the field. In this context, Angel Di Maria could start this new chapter of his career in Miami, accompanied by Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets.
On this matter, coach Tata Martino commented: "There is nothing officially received from the sporting director regarding Angel. Here, the league has certain economic restrictions and certain limits, and we comply with them well within this framework. But today, I don't see any type of hiring as feasible, especially for such exceptional players. It is also true that the transfer window here is closed; it only opens in mid-July, and we have to see what can be done when that time comes. Inter Miami is open to the transfer market; there are always possibilities to continue improving. We will see when the time comes what possibilities we have," he said on Paraguayan radio Monumental AM 1080.

PSG legend ready to join Lionel Messi's Inter Miami
ESPN Argentina reports that an agreement has already been reached between Angel Di Maria and Inter Miami for a future contract. However, the Argentinian might don the Rosario Central jersey, his boyhood club, before ending his career in Florida.
Indeed, according to ESPN Argentina, an approach from the Argentine club is not to be ruled out, as they are trying to provide Angel Di Maria with security guarantees after threats from drug cartels in Rosario against his family if he returns.
These matters are being discussed between Rosario Central and the country's law enforcement. In any case, the former PSG player is expected to join Inter Miami this summer or, at the latest, by January 2025, as evidenced by the upcoming move of his wife and children from Lisbon to Miami, mentioned by the Portuguese media A Bola.
They also note that Angel Di Maria might settle alone in Buenos Aires, 300km from Rosario, for a six-month stint with his boyhood club.
