According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid "are closing in on the signing of Endrick from Palmeiras." This is the aftermath of PSG leaving the race for the Brazilian prospect after getting a couple of bids rejected by Palmeiras.

In his latest newsletter published on Wednesday, Romano goes on to explain that "have walked away from a potential deal to sign Endrick," detailing that the Parisian club "offered €58M to Palmeiras" after they had "discussed personal terms with the player already."

Romano's latets report include an interesting detail, as he is reporting a second bid made by PSG for the acquisition of Estevao quoted at €35M by Romano. That'd have built "a total package of €93M (submitted) to Palmeiras," wrote Romano.

Palmeiras' president Leila Pereira "rejected the bid" for the two players according to Romano. This has put Real Madrid in a prime and leading position to secure the signature of the latest Brazilian wonderkid.

PSG's exit from Endrick's chase will allow Real Madrid to sign the Palmeiras wonderkid

Real Madrid "are in pole position to get this deal done" according to the Italian reporter. Romano is also informing of an offer "worth €70M" as both clubs keep working on the final details and hope "to get it done soon."

Just like Vinicius Júnior or Rodrygo in the past, the young footballer is poised to end up at Real Madrid.

The Real Madrid board of directors even hopes to seal an agreement during this month of December. As a reminder, the 16-year-old striker will only be able to leave Brazil when he is of legal age (in July 2024) as stipulated by FIFA regulations.

To sell Endrick, Palmeiras has already communicated its demands to Real Madrid. The Brazilian club expects 60 million euros, the amount of the termination clause present in the player's contract. It now looks like Real Madrid will be paying a fee in excess of that amount, per Romano's latest reports.

The club chaired by Florentino Pérez is willing to align with Palmeiras' requests but wishes to distribute the payment in the following way: a fixed amount paid immediately and bonuses linked to objectives to reach the expected amount. On both sides, for the moment there is no comment on the progress of the negotiations.
