PSG kicks off Pre-Season with draw against Sturm Graz
In their first friendly match of the season, PSG drew 2-2 with Sturm Graz. Despite the result, Randal Kolo Muani views the game as a positive step in their preparation for the upcoming season.
PSG’s pre-season preparation is gradually picking up pace. After three weeks of training at the PSG Campus, the team faced Austrian champions Sturm Graz in their opening friendly match on Wednesday.
For this encounter, Luis Enrique was able to field his new signings and assess several academy players. The Spanish coach also used the match to give some of his international stars a chance to regain their rhythm.

Randal Kolo Muani, who returned to training earlier in the week, started the match against the Austrians. The Parisian number 23 made an impact by providing an assist for Carlos Soler’s goal and was substituted in the 60th minute.
Following the game, the French international spoke about the result, “There are new players and quite a few youngsters, but I think it was a good first match. There are things to keep and others to work on, but we’ll continue to work to be ready for the league. I believe we’ll be prepared.”
Kolo Muani also explained his quick return to competitive play, saying, “The coach offered me the chance to play, and I accepted because I feel good and was eager to get back on the field.”
Before their Ligue 1 opener against Le Havre on August 16, PSG will have one final pre-season friendly. They will face RB Leipzig this Saturday, which will be broadcast on beIN SPORTS and PSG TV Premium.
