Arnau Tenas described his first year at PSG as a positive experience. He expressed his surprise at how comfortable he felt and considered the year to be a good one. Tenas highlighted the ease of competition with Donnarumma and Navas, noting that both goalkeepers helped him improve in various areas.
He has formed a good friendship with both of them, learning key aspects from each. From Keylor Navas, he learned the importance of fine-tuning details, given Navas' vast global experience. From Donnarumma, he admired his presence in goal, considering it one of the best in the world.
Tenas praised coach Luis Enrique, describing him as incredible and approachable. He credited Enrique for helping him improve daily and expressed gratitude for the interest Enrique showed in bringing him to PSG. Tenas appreciates Enrique’s tactical expertise and his demanding style, particularly in playing from the back.
Regarding teammate Fabian Ruiz, Tenas spoke highly of him, describing him as technically spectacular. He acknowledged Ruiz’s good season at PSG and his impactful performances at the Euros.
Pressure to win the Champions League
Tenas downplayed any pressure on PSG to win the Champions League, stating that the team was free from criticism and pressure. He acknowledged the desire of fans and the club to win the Champions League but emphasized that sometimes football doesn’t provide the necessary chance. He remains optimistic about the team’s prospects for the coming year.
