PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi keeps generating very saucy headlines from Qatar. Speaking to Sky News on Tuesday, Al-Khelaifi confirmed PSG's interest in signing proven Borussia Dortmund midfielder and England's World Cup leader Jude Bellingham next summer.

This aligns with the latest reports coming from Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano speaking of PSG leaving the race for unproven prospect, what-if Brazilian talent Endrick.

Al-Khelaifi is leaving all of the question marks floating around Endrick for Real Madrid while instead focusing on landing a world-renowned talent with proven abilities at the brightest stages in BVB's Jude Bellingham. Quite a clever move if you ask me.

"What a player. Honestly, England are lucky to have [Jude Bellingham]. He's one of the best players in the tournament," declared Al-Khelaifi.

The Qatari president of PSG also labeled Bellingham as someone "amazing" who while still playing in his first World Cup is able to do so "calm, relaxed, and confident."

Asked if PSG will attempt to sign him from Borussia Dortmund next summer (Bellingham's deal runs until the end of the 2024-25 season), Al-Khelaifi acknowledged that "everyone wants [Bellingham]", revealing that he "is not going to hide (his interest in the player)."

"I respect Bellingham is in his club and, respect if we want to talk to him, we talk to the club first," said Al-Khelaifi to avoid any controversy.

Bellingham will lead England next Saturday evening when they take the pitch to face France. A French squad that will be, coincidentally, led by PSG forward Kylian Mbappe.

While the France international has been the more prolific of the two with 5 goals and 2 assists through the Round of 16, Bellingham (playing in the midfield instead of the final third of the pitch, mind you) has already scored one goal while assisting two more.

Bellingham, who has played 21 international games with the England first-team squad, is just 19 years old and plays for German side Borussia Dortmund at the club level.

Bellingham signed a contract running until 2025 with BVB but the team from Dortmund expect a fierce bidding war for their midfielder next summer and they have already accepted his departure ahead of next season.

The extraordinary midfielder is on the radars of behemoths such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Real Madrid. The latter, after having signed Endrick to a monster €70M fee for what might (or might not) be a nice investment in the future (we will have to wait and see), could be out of the race already.

Florian Plettenberg (Sky in Germany) told Sky Sports that "Borussia Dortmund are already planning for Bellingham's exit in summer 2023." The reporter thinks Dortmund "would be fine" with the midfielder leaving because they are "confident in getting a transfer fee between €100M and €150M."

PSG is already leading the race to sign Atletico Madrid attacker Joao Felix, too, whose agent confirmed a few days ago the interest of the player in leaving the Spanish capital club this January.
