PSG in talks to sign free agent Marcus Thuram

According to L'Equipe, PSG has started concrete talks with Marcus Thuram, who is out of contract with Borussia Monchengladbach at the end of this month. The Frenchman is interested in a Parisian adventure and could become PSG's third signing of the summer.

PSG draw up their plans at great speed and, after stalling last summer and completing a horrible season, the French capital club intends to learn from their mistakes.

After landing the signatures of Marco Asensio and Manuel Ugarte, both present on Monday in Paris to sign their respective contracts after undergoing some medical tests, the current French champion has pushed forward on acquiring yet another player in Marcus Thuram.

According to information from L'Equipe, PSG is interested in the France international, whose contract with Borussia Monchengladbach is about to finish by the end of June. The interest of PSG in the player "has been reflected in a more concrete way in recent days," writes the sports newspaper.

The first conversations between both parties are considered positive and the project presented by PSG is of interest to the former Guingamp footballer.

His teammate from the France team, Kylian Mbappe, would be trying to convince him to join him at PSG. Marcus Thuram intends to take a little more time before making his decision, specifies L'Equipe. But the club from the capital is well-placed to sign him.

PSG have been heavily linked to the likes of Victor Osimhen, Harry Kane, and Randal Kolo Muani, so it seems hard to believe that the only center-forward to arrive in Paris will ultimately be Thuram. However, landing such a player on a free transfer would be quite a coup.

We are barely one weeks into June and PSG have already signed three players with Thuram likely becoming the fourth in just a few days. Things couldn't have started better!
