For the summer of 2024, PSG seems genuinely determined to strengthen the left wing of its offensive sector. Indeed, after Kylian Mbappe's departure, and despite the rise of Bradley Barcola, several players capable of playing in this position have been linked to Paris Saint-Germain.

The most persistent case in this area remains that of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. At the start of Euro 2024, the Georgian seemed to be heading straight for a departure from Napoli. It remains to be seen if Manchester United wishes to part with their player, who is still under contract until June 2026, and at what price.

So, the question is, what is Jadon Sancho’s real level today? Is he the player he was at Borussia Dortmund from 2017 to 2021, or the one he has been since his transfer to Manchester United? In the meantime, the player's market value has dropped from its peak in 2020 at 130 million euros to 30 million euros today.

On the field, Jadon Sancho has lost his place in the English national team to the point of not playing in Euro 2024 and being replaced by younger players like Cole Palmer and Eberechi Eze. Blocking a young player with a transfer that remains a gamble, given the Englishman's situation, does not seem, on paper, to be the smartest move. The pursuit of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia made more sense to strengthen the left wing. While Jadon Sancho's talent is undeniable, the relevance of the transfer and his ability to bounce back and get back on track can be real concerns for the Parisians.
