While it seemed like this deal had stalled, Victor Osimhen is still being pursued by PSG. Antonio Conte, his coach at Napoli, has commented on his future.

Victor Osimhen has been linked with PSG for several years. The Napoli striker was already on the radar of Parisian officials last summer, but Aurelio De Laurentiis was adamant about not selling his Nigerian international, even convincing him to extend his contract.

This summer, the situation is different, with the Napoli president willing to sell, asking for 130 million euros for the former Lille player. Although PSG was reported to be close to securing Osimhen's services at the beginning of June, this lead has cooled in recent weeks.

However, in the past few days, this topic has resurfaced among Parisian leaders. Initially, they felt they didn't need a number 9, having Goncalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani in their squad, both of whom wanted to continue their journey in Paris.

Now, they have changed their minds and are interested in acquiring Victor Osimhen. But not at any cost. PSG does not intend to offer 130 million euros but could go up to 100 million euros. However, they must first sell the French or Portuguese international.

At a press conference, Antonio Conte was asked about Osimhen's future. The Italian coach expressed confidence about the outcome of this deal. "There was already a clear agreement on Osimhen's departure. The timing is exactly as we expected; there will be no problem," said Antonio Conte, according to Fabrizio Romano.
