PSG eyeing summer swoop for Argentine Ligue 1 star
By Manuel Meza
Facundo Medina (24) remains a stalwart at the heart of RC Lens' defense, and while the Argentine won't depart from the club this summer, some of Europe's elite teams are plotting moves for the upcoming season, as reported by L’Équipe.
The Argentine international, Medina, has witnessed a significant surge in his value over the past year. Having been a pivotal figure in Ligue 1's best defense last season, he has solidified his rise this campaign, attracting elite interest this January. However, it is expected that Medina will stay with Les Sang et Or this winter.
Nevertheless, that might not be the case come summer. The player has recently changed representatives, and some of Europe's elite teams will be on the lookout. As per L’Équipe, Paris Saint-Germain is planning a move for the summer, while they also hold an interest in Medina's defensive partner, Kevin Danso.
AS Monaco is another club closely monitoring Medina, while both Inter Milan and AC Milan could also try to secure his signature. Inter Milan has already inquired about Medina's availability. Atletico Madrid also has Medina on their list of potential additions, but once again, a move isn't expected until the summer. The battle for Medina's signature seems poised to be intense.
