This Sunday, September 3, PSG visited Olympique Lyonnais, on the occasion of MD4 of the French championship. With some important returns from the infirmary, Luis Enrique's men arrived with the goal of closing their second victory of the season, to be two in a row, and continue their undefeated status.

The attention of the game would focus mainly on Kylian Mbappe, who finally stayed in Paris after a summer full of rumors, but also on Bradley Barcola. The French winger signed for PSG on the last day of the transfer window, and would quickly have his chance to score against his former club, OL.

Despite once again having Goncalo Ramos in the squad, Luis Enrique decided to line up Marco Asensio as a "false 9" for the second consecutive game. PSG came out with the following starting XI, in a 4-3-3 system: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Skriniar, Hernandez – Zaire-Emery, Ugarte, Vitinha – Dembele, Asensio, Mbappe.

The match ended with a score of 1-4, in favor of the Parisians. The scorers were Kylian Mbappe (4', 45+2'), Achraf Hakimi (20') and Marco Asensio (38'). On the Lyon side, it was Corentin Tolisso who was in charge of discounting, from the penalty spot.

The general feeling was one of absolute mastery on the part of Paris. However, it was not like that for the 90 minutes. In fact, Lyon recorded 7 shots on goal, but they were stopped by a superlative level from Gianluigi Donnarumma. Little by little, the Spanish strategist's system is taking shape, and it is becoming increasingly clear which are the immovable pieces in the scheme. The next match for the Parisians is on September 17 against OGC Nice, at the Parc des Princes.
