Eager to strengthen their attack, PSG is reportedly on the verge of ending their pursuit of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.

With just two weeks remaining until the close of the summer transfer window on August 30th in France, PSG is accelerating efforts to bolster their offensive lineup. In the coming days, Desire Doue is expected to join Luis Enrique's squad.

However, the Parisian board is still seeking additional signings to enhance the attacking power of the Rouge & Bleu. Despite exploring several options in recent weeks, including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Victor Osimhen, and Julian Alvarez, none have materialized. Jadon Sancho’s name has consistently come up as a potential winger.

After a successful six-month loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, the English international returned to Manchester United this summer and remains under contract until June 2026. The 24-year-old is open to a move to PSG, but the €60M asking price set by the Red Devils has stalled discussions. Earlier today, The Independent even mentioned the possibility of a loan deal with an obligation to buy. However, recent reports from England suggest otherwise.

The Telegraph reports that Jadon Sancho is not part of PSG's transfer plans. "The Parisians are searching for a new striker but do not need another player like Sancho, with wingers such as Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembele already in the squad," the British outlet explains.

Despite his criticism of the player's behavior last season, Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag is willing to give Sancho another chance, as evidenced by his participation in five of the six preseason matches. However, this does not signal the end of discussions between the two clubs regarding Manuel Ugarte.

If Man United is not prepared to meet this valuation, the English club hopes to secure a deal in the final days of the window.

Regarding the Jadon Sancho situation, journalist Ben Jacobs is less definitive but confirms that PSG is not close to signing the English international. Negotiations for Manuel Ugarte continue, with Manchester United reportedly having already made two verbal offers, both well below the €60M demanded by the French champions.
