French media outlet Le Parisien is reporting the appointment of a new face to lead the Academy of PSG: Luca Cattani, who will now work along with Yohan Cabaye in the youth ranks after taking on a sporting director role.

This is the last move in a string of changes made by Paris Saint-Germain while reshuffling the members of their staff. The new chapter will be led by Luca Cattani as the new director of the academy after the departure of Jean-François Pien last November.

Cattani, who had already worked at PSG recruiting players for the club and who is tightly related to Antero Henrique, returned to Paris last summer to lead the Parisian training center. He will now take on a larger role as the head director of the academy.

Yohan Cabaye will join Cattani as his deputy at PSG. On top of that, and according to Le Parisien, the third member of this new triumvirate will be Cyrille Carriere, who is expected to join PSG after Cattani and Cabaye did so.

Carriere will join PSG next February, with his latest gigs happening at the Tours training center (2011-2018) and then at Orleans (2018-2020). He is known mostly for training young talents at those two clubs.

The French newspaper also informs that PSG are "working in parallel on the arrival of an education manager," who will be added to the aforementioned trio as part of the refurbished staff of the club.
