PSG and Bayern in fierce battle for French star Desire Doue
Both clubs have already made proposals to the Rennes officials. The German club was the first to make an offer, with a bid of 35 million euros rejected by Stade Rennais. The French champions, in turn, offered 45 million euros. This Friday morning, Fabrizio Romano provided an update on this matter.
The transfer market specialist indicates that Desire Doue, currently with the French Olympic team, is taking his time to consider the best option for his future between the projects of PSG and Bayern Munich. He is expected to make his decision soon, assures Fabrizio Romano. On the PSG side, it is emphasized that all members of the club see Desire Doue as the ideal signing. Meanwhile, Bayern is reportedly ready to make a new offer to Rennes.
The journalist also explains that Rennes has not yet responded to PSG's offer for their young prodigy, while PSG is pushing the player's entourage to convince him to join the French capital. Although Bayern Munich is also interested in Xavi Simons, these two deals are not linked. Romano concludes by saying that everything should become clearer next week regarding this matter.
