7 - Achraf Hakimi

Achraf Hakimi also made a strong impression. The Moroccan, wearing the captain's armband in Marquinhos' absence, lived up to his new role. Hakimi delivered 5 key passes, had 119 touches, and won all 3 of his ground duels. A brilliant return to Ligue 1, leaving us eager to see him in action in the Champions League.

6 - Milan Skriniar

It was a pleasant surprise to see Skriniar return to the starting lineup. After positive performances with Slovakia and numerous rumours about his departure over the summer, Milan came back and performed solidly. He recorded 1 interception, 2 tackles, 2 clearances, and 1 blocked shot.

5 - Lucas Beraldo

The Brazilian centre-back continues to raise concerns. He didn't cause many problems, but we even saw Luis Enrique giving him instructions in a rather desperate tone. Let's hope he can start showing more promise and maintain his form.

4 - Nuno Mendes

The Portuguese were substituted early on by Willian Pacho. While the defender had a few promising moments, his unnecessary error was the major issue, giving Brest a chance to get back into the game.
