PSG vs. Borussia Dortmund - Grades: Defenders

7 - Hakimi: Scorer of the second Paris goal (58'), just like against OGC Nice, we can once again say that there is an obvious improvement in the Moroccan's level. He often decides poorly, but he never stops trying something different, and in this match, his attempts worked in a good way.

7 - Marquinhos: There should be no debate surrounding the Brazilian's captaincy. Good on defense, good on offense. Marquinhos is a highly productive and competitive footballer. With a 93% success rate in his passes (87/94), 107 touches of the ball, 10 passes in the final third of the field, 6 recoveries, 4 clearances, and 10 successful defensive actions, he is, in our eyes, one of the best in the game.

6 - Skriniar: Four days after a poor performance against OGC Nice, the Slovakian knew how to recover and played a match in line with the previous ones; much more solid, although not shiny. We even saw him achieve some good deep defensive cover against Füllkrug, but it was mainly in his box and in some interventions where he made his presence felt.

6 - Hernandez: Against the fast Adeyemi, he did not necessarily appear very comfortable in his first duels, but little by little he gained confidence and calm, imposing a physical challenge to which the Dortmund player did not know how to respond. In his energetic and suffocating style against the rival, he managed to make several important interventions and practically nothing happened on his side.
