PSG vs. Lorient - Grades: Defenders

1 - Hakimi: He should have gotten the red card before the 15th minute so I might have not had enough of a sample to grade him. Sadly, it arrived in the 20th minute so Hakimi earns an extraordinary one-point grade. Keep it up!

2 - Sergio Ramos: The real Ramos was the one we watched on Sunday and not the one that had been pleasantly manning the defense in the last three games against teams that give PSG no trouble and brought no heat at all to the defense. The minute an opponent tried to play offensively and attack the old Spaniard, Ramos absolutely flopped. And that's why he should be let go in a month instead of extending his contract to keep dragging the whole team down to the mud.

6 - Danilo: Not the greatest game we've seen him play but he 1) started the game in the midfield, 2) was moved back to the defensive line because of Hakimi's red card, and 3) had the best chance of scoring a goal among all PSG players. How can you not like the performance, let alone this man enduring such a disturbing squad and season? Kudos and flowers to Danilo, always.

3 - Marquinhos: Awful play by the captain of PSG, who will sooner or later lose the armband to Mbappe considering what each of the two represent and actually do on the pitch. The change from a two-CB to a three-CB line hurt him and he never properly adapted.

2 - Bernat: Very Bernat-esque game by the very own Bernat who got replaced at the break because he was totally overwhelmed by Lorient's right-wing man. Day to forget.

4 - Nuno Mendes: Better than Bernat. That's pretty much all you can say about the Portugal international, who on top of a nightmarish day for PSG, left the pitch with a thigh injury of all things. Seriously, this team can't catch a break.
