PSG 1-0 Girona: Paris Saint-Germain player ratings
By Manuel Meza
PSG vs. Girona - Player ratings: Midfielders
6 - Warren Zaire-Emery
Warren performed well in several specific actions but also lacked offensive creativity when he had chances to create danger. The Parisian youngster made three key passes and completed 93% of his passes. He was also effective with his long balls and the only cross he delivered. Beyond that, like the rest of the squad, he was largely ineffective.
6 - Vitinha
He had some good moments. At times during the match, he organised the Parisian midfield, and when he did, PSG looked aggressive going forward. Vitinha is meant to boost the attackers, but he didn’t and also didn’t do enough. He’s returning from injury, but we hope to see him back to his best soon.
6 - Fabian Ruiz
Fabian didn’t perform particularly poorly, but he also couldn’t make a difference. He was active and committed, but lacked efficiency. The Spanish midfielder didn’t live up to expectations after a strong performance in the last Ligue 1 match against Brest. The further forward he plays, the better he seems, but today Girona forced him to drop back frequently and take on a more holding role.
