PSG vs. Girona - Player ratings: Defenders

6 - Achraf Hakimi

It wasn’t the same Achraf Hakimi we had seen in recent weeks. Despite taking on multiple roles throughout the match, even appearing among the forwards at times, the Moroccan’s decision-making was generally poor.

6 - Marquinhos

Solid. He is clearly the team's leader, but like the others, he fell short. There were no signs of hesitation when he had the ball at his feet, unlike in other Champions League nights. Today, he was decent, but not outstanding.

6 - William Pacho

The Ecuadorian performed well on his first major Champions League night. He saved PSG at least once. Generally well-positioned, he developed a good understanding with Marquinhos and played out from the back effectively. Good, but nothing more.

6 - Nuno Mendes

The Portuguese player was involved a lot but produced little. We saw him more defensively than offensively. Nuno usually pushes forward and creates significant threats, but tonight wasn’t one of those nights. Frankly, there isn’t much more to say. His late goal saved him from criticism, though it was more due to the rival goalkeeper's error. The Portuguese did not stop trying.
