The winter transfer window for PSG is shaping up to be active on both the incoming and outgoing fronts. Alongside Nordi Mukiele's potential move to Bayern Munich, another player in the spotlight is Hugo Ekitike, drawing interest from various European clubs.
In the past few hours, the speculation surrounding Nordi Mukiele's transfer to Bayern Munich has gained momentum, hinting at a possible return to the Bundesliga for PSG's number 26.
However, the departure list for Luis Enrique's squad this winter might not end there. The name of Hugo Ekitike is a top priority on PSG's departure agenda, and the negotiations appear to be progressing well.
According to reports from L'Équipe, Wolfsburg has submitted an official offer for the 21-year-old forward in this winter transfer window. The offer is said to be a paid loan with no purchase option.
While Wolfsburg is currently the sole club with a formal offer, competition is heating up, with Wolverhampton and Eintracht Frankfurt also in the mix.
L'Équipe reports that PSG continues discussions with Wolfsburg. As for Eintracht Frankfurt, the German club seems to be facing challenges in securing Arnaud Kalimuendo and has accelerated again in the past few hours, according to the French media. German sources indicate that Frankfurt's executives are confident about the deal's feasibility with PSG but must now convince Hugo Ekitike to make the move.
