PSG prospect and attacking midfielder Ismael Gharbi, a product of the Paris Saint-Germain academy, will spend this season on loan at Swiss club FC Stade Lausanne Ouchy, PSG announced on Friday.

Gharbi's journey through the ranks commenced in 2016 when he entered Paris Saint-Germain's pre-academy system, following his earlier stint with Paris FC. His progression led him to the senior academy, where he showcased his talents for the U17 and U19 squads.

In August 2021, the attacking midfielder marked his debut with the first team during the Trophée des Champions against Lille in Tel Aviv. The 2021–2022 season saw Gharbi make his maiden appearance in Ligue 1, coming off the bench against Troyes at the Parc des Princes on Matchday 36, ultimately contributing to the French league title clinched by the team that season.

Throughout the 2022–2023 season, Gharbi, who boasts both French and Spanish heritage, trained alongside the first-team squad on a daily basis. During this period, he notched up six appearances in top-flight matches, adding another Ligue 1 title to his impressive record. With Les Rouge et Bleu, the talented player has now accumulated a total of 12 appearances across various competitions.
