PSG defender Colin Dagba, who joined Paris Saint-Germain's ranks in 2016, is set to join AJ Auxerre on loan for the remainder of the 2023–24 season.
Dagba's football journey has taken him across various clubs, including stints at Lens and Boulogne, before his arrival in Paris seven years ago. The right-back initially showcased his skills as part of France U19 squad.
The turning point came in July 2017 when Dagba signed his first professional contract, marking a significant step forward in his promising career. His moment in the spotlight arrived when he made his debut for the first team of PSG during the 2018 Trophee des Champions against Monaco.
During his tenure with Paris Saint-Germain, Dagba amassed an impressive 77 appearances, a tally that included seven Champions League matches. His contributions extended beyond cardio, as he netted one goal and provided six assists. While at PSG, Dagba won three Ligue 1 titles, two Coupes de France, two Trophees des Champions, and one Coupe de la Ligue.
The 24-year-old Frenchman not only left an indelible mark on club football but also featured prominently on the international (underage) stage. As a former France U21 call-up, Dagba earned 16 caps and netted one goal for Les Bleuets.
The previous season saw Dagba plying his trade on loan at Strasbourg, where he featured 21 times in Ligue 1 for the side.
